Audit Manager | Dublin - Hybrid (2–3 Days in Office) | €65,000 – €80,000

The Role
You'll take ownership of a significant international audit client with multiple group entities, managing engagements from planning through to completion while ensuring exceptional client service and technical excellence.  In addition to leading this flagship engagement, you'll manage a portfolio of audit assignments, review financial statements, support business development, and play an integral role in developing both clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a large international audit engagement with multiple group audits.
  • Manage a portfolio of smaller audit assignments from planning through to completion.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients and act as a key point of contact.
  • Review audit files and accounts prepared by junior team members.
  • Ensure assignments are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Prepare completed work for Partner review.
  • Identify technical matters and commercial opportunities within client portfolios.
  • Support business development and strengthen existing client relationships.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop junior members of the audit team.
  • Assist with training initiatives and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
  • Stay current with auditing standards, accounting regulations, and industry developments.
About YouTo be successful, you'll have:
  • ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years' post-qualified experience.
  • Strong external audit experience gained within an accountancy practice.
  • Proven experience preparing statutory accounts using CaseWare.
  • Experience preparing financial statements under IFRS and Irish GAAP (FRS102).
  • Strong knowledge of audit methodology and financial reporting.
  • Experience managing audit engagements and client relationships.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A passion for coaching and developing junior team members.
  • Previous business development experience or a commercial mindset.
Desirable:
  • Experience auditing clients within the digital assets or cryptocurrency sector.
  • An interest in leveraging technology to improve audit quality and efficiency.
