An excellent opportunity for an experienced Risk and Compliance professional to join a growing insurance business.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in supporting and developing the organisation's risk and compliance frameworks. This is a broad second-line role offering exposure across regulatory compliance, enterprise risk, governance and data protection. You will have no direct reports in this role.
Your Role:
- Support the delivery of compliance monitoring and risk management activities.
- Monitor regulatory developments and support the implementation of new requirements.
- Maintain risk registers, key risk indicators and risk reporting.
- Support the development of policies, procedures and internal controls.
- Act as a key POC for all Data Protection Matters, supporting with DPIAs, DSARs, ROPAs, breaches etc
- Prepare reporting for senior management and governance committees.
- Support regulatory engagement and interactions with relevant authorities.
- Contribute to third-party risk, operational resilience and broader governance activities.
About You:
- 4+ years' experience in Risk, Compliance, or Data Protection role within Financial Services. Insurance experience is preferable
- Strong understanding of the Irish regulatory environment - CPC, GDPR, F&P etc
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable and enjoys working on a varied role in a growing business.
