A well-established, award-winning accounting and wealth advisory firm is looking to add a CPA to their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants a collaborative, client-focused environment with real variety in their day to day work.
What you'll be doing:
- Preparing and reviewing partnership, corporate, fiduciary, and individual tax returns
- Identifying and executing tax planning opportunities for clients
- Supporting client accounting and tax engagements alongside the wider team
- Partnering with managers and partners on technical research and client matters
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships while delivering high quality accounting, tax, and consulting services
- Mentoring and training junior staff
- Accounting degree required, MBA or Masters in Tax/Accounting a plus
- 3+ years of experience at a public CPA firm
- Active CPA license
- Strong working knowledge of Lacerte, QuickBooks, and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Sharp analytical and critical thinking skills with real attention to detail
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and strong communication skills
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
