This is the step up.
You’ve got a few years under your belt and you’re ready for more than the same month-end cycle. Here you’ll work close to the numbers that matter in a payments business in the process of acquiring it's EMI license — reconciliations, reporting, and the controls behind customer funds — with a senior finance lead who actually wants to teach you. Not buried in a big team. In the room, learning the business from the inside.
You grow into the role, not out of it.
Start hands-on with reconciliations and reporting, then take on more as you prove yourself: the controls, the safeguarding work, ownership of your own area. Where processes are still forming, you’ll help shape them. The remit grows as fast as you do.
And the environment makes that possible.
A growing, fast-moving payments business, lean teams, short decision chains, and real visibility with finance and leadership from day one. The kind of place where good work gets noticed and people build careers, not just do a job. Genuine room to progress as the company scales.
Hybrid in London, ensuring both face time and flexibility.
What you’ll bring:
- Around 3 years’ accounting experience — practice or industry.
- Solid reconciliations and a good eye for where numbers don’t tie out.
- Confident in the detail and keen to understand the “why”, not just the “what”.
- Comfortable with data — handy in Excel, happy to dig into where things sit.
- Part-qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) and studying towards qualification.
- A payments or fintech background is a bonus, not a must — curiosity and drive matter more.
