AML and Sanctions Lead| Consumer Lending | Nottingham (Hybrid) | Bonus Scheme

This is where your expertise leads.
You’ve investigated the cases, made the calls and seen SARs through from start to finish. Now you’re ready to set the standard. Here you’ll sit at the heart of a UK AML Work Programme in a high-volume consumer lending business, working alongside the MLRO and leading the people on the front line. This isn’t a role where you review from a distance. You’ll be the person the team turns to when a case gets complicated.

You lead the work, not just the reviews.
You’ll mentor and develop first-line investigators, define what good looks like, and use QA as a coaching tool to raise SAR quality. You’ll also own the policies, procedures and training that keep things practical, partner with the MLRO on suspicious activity decisions and audits, and act as the final pair of eyes on the toughest cases. Beyond that, you’ll run 2nd-line assurance, challenge CDD, and close out risk events and audit findings properly, making it harder for financial criminals to get through.

And the environment backs you to do it.
This is a business consistently recognised as one of the UK’s best places to work. It has a strong focus on learning, up to £5,000 of funding for external qualifications, and a team that is serious about keeping the bad actors out. You’ll have real influence with stakeholders and room to shape how controls work in practice.

Hybrid in Nottingham, with Tuesday to Thursday in the office and Monday and Friday at home.

Competitive base, performance-related bonus, and a package built to grow with you.
