Private Client Tax Manager – Scotland | Hybrid | Up to £80,000 + Benefits

Ready for a Private Client Tax role where your experience is genuinely valued?

I’m working with a growing professional services firm that is looking to strengthen its Private Client Tax team across Scotland. They’re looking for experienced Tax Managers who want to take ownership of a strong client portfolio, work with interesting individuals and families, and continue building their career within a supportive and forward-thinking tax function. This isn’t just about managing compliance. You’ll become a trusted adviser to your clients, working across a broad range of Private Client Tax matters while developing long-term relationships and providing practical, commercially focused advice.

You’ll have the autonomy to manage your own portfolio, work closely with senior tax professionals and support junior members of the team. There’s also scope to get involved in wider projects, improve processes and contribute to the continued growth of the Private Client Tax offering.

What’s in it for you?

  • You’ll have the opportunity to work with a varied client base, strengthen your technical expertise and take on greater responsibility without losing the client contact that makes Private Client Tax interesting.
  • The firm is investing in technology and smarter ways of working, giving you the opportunity to spend less time on unnecessary processes and more time adding value for clients. You’ll also have access to experienced colleagues across the wider professional services business, creating opportunities to broaden your network and develop commercially.

What we’re looking for

  • You’ll have strong Private Client Tax experience and be operating at Manager level, with a solid understanding of UK personal tax and the confidence to manage client relationships independently.
  • We’re particularly interested in people who enjoy the advisory side of Private Client Tax, want to develop their client portfolio and are looking for a role where they can continue progressing.

Why consider the move?

  • Salary up to £80,000 + benefits
  • Hybrid working across Scotland
  • Varied Private Client portfolio
  • Investment in technology and smarter processes
  • Strong opportunities for progression
  • Supportive, collaborative professional services environment

If you’re an experienced Private Client Tax Manager in Scotland and are open to hearing about a role that could give you more ownership, client exposure and long-term progression, I’d be happy to have a confidential conversation.
