Role Overview
A leading independent financial and fiduciary services provider is seeking a high-caliber Commercial Director to lead growth and client acquisition within their Private Client and Family Office division.

Reporting directly to the CCO, you will drive the business development strategy, manage key intermediary and UHNW client relationships, and oversee the BD/Marketing function. You will also serve as a principal officer and client director on complex structures, ensuring top-tier service delivery and robust corporate governance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development & Growth: Lead the strategy to win new UHNW client relationships, manage pipeline opportunities, lead pitching/pricing discussions, and expand the brand across core markets (including the Middle East).

  • Fiduciary & Client Management: Serve as a client director on complex, high-risk family office structures, acting as a trusted advisor on fiduciary, technical, and governance matters.

  • Leadership & Team Mentoring: Lead and develop the BD function, while mentoring client administration teams to maintain high service standards and commercial awareness.

  • Operational & Financial Oversight: Contribute to overall business strategy, manage unit budgets, drive process efficiencies, and chair key internal committees.

Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 8+ years in a senior leadership/business development role within an offshore financial services or private client environment.

  • Network: Strong existing intermediary network, with proven expertise in global family office structures and private client solutions (Middle East regional experience preferred).

  • Qualifications: Relevant professional qualification required (e.g., STEP, ICSA/CGANI, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).

  • Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of offshore company law, trust structures, corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory risk.

  • Skills: Outstanding commercial acumen, proven pitching/presentation capability, and strong team leadership abilities.
