The FCA Application Gateway opens on 30 September 2026. The final readiness check starts now.

Hosted by Broadgate in collaboration with London Blockchain Conference, this private breakfast roundtable will bring together a select group of senior compliance and legal leaders one week before the gateway opens:

UK Crypto Authorisation: The Final Readiness Check

This closed-door session will provide a forum to test approaches, compare priorities and identify the issues most likely to affect authorisation.

Together, we will explore:

  • Application readiness: What will distinguish a credible, well-evidenced application, and does the compliance function have the right structure, capability and resources to support it?
  • Governance and accountability: Are senior ownership, reporting lines and individual responsibilities clear enough to withstand regulatory scrutiny?
  • Financial crime controls: Are AML, transaction monitoring and Travel Rule frameworks supported by the right people, systems and operating model for the next phase?

Held under Chatham House Rules, this will be a candid, peer-level conversation for those responsible for getting authorisation right.
