Senior Business Operations Manager (Part-Time, 3 Days/Week)
Broadgate’s client is a premier international fund services and professional advisory firm. In a newly created role to support the continued growth of the business across key European hubs, they are looking to appoint a Senior Business Operations Manager to partner directly with executive leadership in driving operational discipline, financial oversight, and performance reporting.
Responsibilities
  • Direct the commercial engine of the business unit, overseeing quarterly billing cycles, fee collection, debtor management, and revenue forecasting across UK and international operations.
  • Design and maintain executive dashboard reporting (utilizing platforms like Monday.com) to track key operational metrics, capacity planning, and business KPIs.
  • Establish robust workflow discipline by driving action logs, business control trackers, and regulatory review processes to ensure prompt completion of governance tasks.
  • Serve as an operational bridge between UK leadership and international teams, instilling standardized management practices and scalable operating models across jurisdictions.
  • Deliver concise, decision-focused management reporting for Partners and governance committees, highlighting operational exceptions and resource allocation needs.
  • Support strategic annual budgeting, revenue tracking, and workforce planning, preparing analytical board packs to guide executive commercial decisions.
Essential Experience
  • Extensive background in operational management, practice management, finance control, or business operations within professional services, mid-tier accountancy, or regulated financial environments.
  • Proven track record in commercial financial oversight, including budget forecasting, time-billing management, debtor tracking, and executive MI dashboard creation.
  • Strong leadership capability with the authority to challenge senior operational stakeholders, drive task completion, and maintain accountability across multidisciplinary teams.
