Are you an experienced Payroll leader with a passion for transformation, technology, and advisory? This is an outstanding opportunity to lead and grow a Payroll practice within a market-leading consulting environment, helping organisations modernise one of their most business-critical functions.
Working with senior stakeholders across a diverse client base, you'll lead complex Payroll transformation programmes, shape market strategy, and build innovative Payroll solutions spanning technology, operating models, compliance, and process optimisation.
Your Role:
- Lead the Payroll strategy and growth agenda as part of a wider HR Transformation and Technology practice.
- Drive business development, identifying and securing new Payroll transformation opportunities.
- Lead large-scale client engagements covering Payroll transformation, optimisation, compliance, and operating model design.
- Advise clients on Payroll technology selection and implementation across leading platforms including ADP, Ceridian, SD Worx, Oracle, SAP, and Workday.
- Design and optimise Payroll operating models, including outsourced, in-house, and hybrid solutions.
- Provide strategic advice on Payroll governance, controls, compliance, and risk management.
- Lead multidisciplinary delivery teams, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest quality and within agreed timelines.
- Develop innovative Payroll methodologies, propositions, and market offerings.
- Collaborate with local and international teams to deliver integrated HR and technology transformation programmes.
About You:
- Extensive experience leading Payroll transformation, advisory, or consulting engagements.
- Strong background within a consulting, professional services, or large corporate environment.
- Deep knowledge of Payroll operations, technology, governance, and compliance.
- Experience delivering complex Payroll technology implementations and transformation programmes.
- Strong understanding of Payroll operating models, shared services, and outsourcing strategies.
- Commercially minded with experience developing new business and growing client relationships.
- An experienced people leader with the ability to develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage at Executive and Board level.
