Are you a newly qualified ACA or ACCA accountant looking to take the next step in your career? You'll work alongside experienced professionals, taking ownership of client relationships while delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Your Role:
- Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering year-end accounts, management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
- Build and develop strong client relationships, providing an exceptional level of service and identifying opportunities to add value.
- Take ownership of client accounting assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
- Prepare and review financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards, including FRS 102.
- Deliver technical accounting and advisory work, providing practical recommendations to clients.
- Research changes in legislation and accounting standards, identifying implications and opportunities for clients.
- Work closely with colleagues across the business to deliver integrated client solutions.
- Support and mentor junior team members, contributing to their ongoing development.
- Assist with business development activities, including proposals and tenders where required.
About You:
- Newly qualified ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
- Experience working in an accounting or professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge of FRS 102 and financial reporting standards.
- Experience managing or supporting a client portfolio.
- Working knowledge of cloud accounting platforms such as Xero.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially minded, proactive, and committed to delivering outstanding client service.
