We are partnering with a fast-growing financial services organisation to appoint an Executive Director, Institutional & B2B Sales. This is a senior commercial leadership role focused on driving institutional growth, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the firm's presence across banking, asset management, corporate, and digital asset markets.
The successful candidate will lead complex sales initiatives, manage key institutional relationships, and work closely with executive stakeholders to deliver scalable business growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Market Expansion
- Develop and execute the institutional and B2B growth strategy across private banks, pension funds, institutional investors, and corporate clients.
- Identify, originate, and secure strategic partnerships and large-scale distribution opportunities.
- Lead complex sales cycles from prospecting through to negotiation, contracting, and onboarding.
- Manage and oversee high-value RFP and tender processes.
- Act as the senior point of contact for key institutional clients and strategic partners.
- Drive revenue growth through effective account planning and relationship development.
- Maintain strong engagement with senior decision-makers and executive stakeholders.
- Coordinate with Operations, Compliance, Risk, Product, and Technology teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
- Support the development of scalable processes and operating models to facilitate growth.
- Champion client-centric improvements across onboarding, servicing, and digital channels.
- Lead major partnership implementations, integrations, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Work closely with executive leadership on business development priorities and long-term commercial strategy.
- Represent the business in senior-level client, industry, and stakeholder engagements.
- Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- 10 years' experience in institutional sales, business development, or relationship management within banking, financial services, fintech, or digital assets.
- Strong understanding of institutional markets and experience selling complex financial solutions.
- Established network across institutional investors, private banks, asset managers, corporates, or digital asset ecosystems.
- Proven track record of winning and managing large-scale institutional relationships and strategic partnerships.
- Experience leading complex RFPs, negotiations, and onboarding processes.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-suite and Board-level stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- CFA, CAIA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience within digital assets, crypto markets, or emerging financial technologies.
- Background in management consulting, strategy consulting, or corporate strategy.
- Experience leading cross-functional transformation or growth projects in regulated environments.
