Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for risk and a talent for navigating complexity? We’re looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Risk Management to play a pivotal role in shaping how risk is understood, managed, and embedded across our organization.
In this hybrid role based in Toronto, you’ll work closely with the Chief Risk Officer to drive the execution of our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework. From developing policies and monitoring key risk exposures to advising on strategic planning and regulatory compliance, this is a high-impact opportunity to influence decision-making at the highest levels.
Your Impact
- Lead the development and implementation of enterprise-wide risk policies, tools, and governance practices.
- Monitor and assess key financial, operational, and strategic risks—translating complex data into meaningful insights for senior leadership.
- Own the definition and tracking of risk appetite metrics and thresholds across business lines.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of stress testing and scenario analysis programs.
- Stay ahead of global economic and regulatory developments—and help us prepare for what’s next.
- Collaborate with teams across North America and globally to align with enterprise-wide risk frameworks and initiatives.
- Represent the risk function in discussions with regulators and industry bodies.
- 7–10 years of experience in risk management, commercial banking, or financial services.
- A strong foundation in enterprise risk principles, with working knowledge of credit, market, liquidity, and operational risk.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to translate risk insights into business context.
- Familiarity with regulatory expectations and governance best practices.
- Excellent communication skills—confident preparing presentations and speaking with senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; exposure to tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Visio is a plus.
- A degree in finance, business, or a related discipline; professional designations such as FRM, CFA, CPA, or CIA are highly valued.
