Broadgate are working with an international corporate services provider seeking a Senior Business Development & Marketing professional to join their team on a six-month fixed-term basis. The position entails proactively targeting new opportunities across multiple jurisdictions, focusing on client acquisition, intermediary relationships and referral networks.
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Lead the development and delivery of structured business development plans aligned to service line objectives
  • Take a data-led approach to identifying and prioritising new business opportunities
  • Work closely with research, data and client development teams to refine targeting strategies
  • Identify and assess prospective clients and intermediaries for focused BD engagement
  • Utilise CRM systems to drive pipeline management, tracking and reporting
  • Enhance BD reporting frameworks and dashboard tools to promote measurable performance
  • Drive both cross-selling initiatives and external new client acquisition activity
  • Facilitate regular planning and review sessions with service line teams to ensure activity is budgeted, monitored and aligned to commercial objectives
  • Translate service-level BD strategies into clear, actionable individual plans with defined responsibilities and targets
  • Support the creation and refinement of high-quality marketing collateral
  • Assist senior stakeholders with preparation of major pitches and strategic proposals
  • Coordinate business development trips, ensuring targeted engagement and effective follow-up
  • Identify relevant conferences and industry events, secure speaking opportunities where appropriate and maximise networking impact
  • Plan and deliver targeted BD events aligned to growth priorities
  • Contribute to internal BD training initiatives to strengthen cross-selling capability and service awareness across the firm
  • Monitor BD budgets and expenditure in partnership with service line leadership, providing regular progress updates 
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in business development and marketing within professional services, corporate services, funds or fiduciary sectors
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing impactful BD strategies
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate data into actionable growth initiatives
  • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and external clients at all levels
  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships across a matrixed organisation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience managing or mentoring BD professionals
  • Proactive, solutions-focused and commercially minded approach
  • Experience using InterAction or comparable CRM systems
  • Degree qualification desirable
