An exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to step into a high-impact, embedded HR role supporting a leading, fast-paced technology business.
This is not a traditional HR Team Leader role — instead, it offers a hands-on, client-facing HRBP-style position where you’ll operate as the primary HR partner within a live commercial environment.
You’ll be embedded within a key client, working closely with stakeholders across technical, sales and operational teams, delivering pragmatic, responsive and commercially focused HR support. The Opportunity
You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day HR function for a major client account, balancing proactive people initiatives with reactive HR support in a fast-moving environment.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, pace and building strong relationships, and who enjoys being close to the business rather than operating in a purely strategic or policy-driven role. Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary HR contact, delivering high-quality generalist support across the business
- Build trusted relationships quickly with stakeholders across technical and commercial teams
- Support managers with a wide range of employee relations and people matters
- Balance proactive HR initiatives with day-to-day operational and reactive support
- Oversee workflow and incoming priorities, ensuring a responsive and organised HR service
- Lead or contribute to initiatives across talent, development, engagement and capability
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment
- Manage one direct report and support wider team coordination
- Strong HR generalist background across both operational and advisory HR
- Experience working in fast-paced, commercial or tech-led environments
- Confident engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including technical and sales teams
- Pragmatic, adaptable and solutions-focused in approach
- Comfortable balancing planned work with reactive “in-the-moment” HR support
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to adapt your style to different audiences
- Organised, responsive and able to reprioritise quickly as business needs shift
- Experience in an embedded, consultancy or service-led environment is advantageous
- Competitive salary aligned to experience
- Hybrid working across home and a Central London client site
- Travel expenses covered in line with policy
- Exposure to a dynamic, fast-growing and highly commercial business
- Opportunity to develop within an embedded HR model, gaining broad, hands-on experience
- Support from an established HR leadership team and wider People function
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to:
- Move into a true HR business partner role with real influence
- Gain exposure to a live, fast-paced commercial environment
- Develop breadth across both strategic and operational HR
- Work in a role where no two days are the same
