We’re working with a well-established advisory firm in Aberdeenshire that’s looking for a Global Mobility Tax Director to lead and grow their international mobility offering.
This is a senior leadership role with significant responsibility, offering the chance to shape the firm’s global mobility strategy, lead a high-performing team, and provide expert advice to clients with complex international tax requirements.
What the role involves
- Leading the global mobility tax function, ensuring technical excellence and practical, commercial solutions for clients.
- Advising on international assignments, cross-border taxation, and expatriate planning for both individuals and organisations.
- Developing and mentoring a team of tax professionals, fostering growth, collaboration, and technical development.
- Working closely with other service lines to deliver integrated, client-focused solutions.
- Contributing to the firm’s growth by identifying opportunities for business development and client relationship expansion.
- A qualified tax professional (CTA, ACA, CTA or equivalent) with strong experience in global mobility and international tax.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and mentoring staff.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to provide clear, practical guidance to clients.
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and international clients.
- A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a drive to develop and grow the service offering.
