We are looking for an experienced commercial strategist to lead innovation and new service development within a global investment services platform. In this role, you will focus on identifying market opportunities, shaping new offerings, and supporting the launch of services that support long-term business growth within the private markets and fund administration space.
 
Working closely with senior leaders across commercial, operations, technology and compliance, you will take ideas from concept through to launch and play a key role in shaping future product strategy.
 
In this role, you will:
  • Identify new market opportunities by analysing industry trends, client demand and competitor activity.
  • Develop business cases and commercial models for new products, services and market expansion.
  • Design and structure new service offerings aligned with client needs.
  • Collaborate with operations, technology, legal and compliance teams to bring new solutions to market.
  • Lead the launch and go-to-market strategy for new products and services.
  • Support the commercial team with client engagement and sales enablement.
  • Monitor performance and client feedback to refine and evolve new offerings.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on innovation, contributing to the organisation’s broader growth strategy.
 
Requirement for the role:
  • 15–20 years’ experience within private markets, fund administration, or a related financial services environment.
  • Exposure to product development, commercial strategy or market expansion initiatives.
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to translate ideas into practical commercial solutions.
  • The ability to influence senior stakeholders and work across multiple teams.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
