An international private bank with a strong European presence is seeking a Business Risk Manager for its Dublin branch. This pivotal role supports Front Office teams in managing day-to-day business risks, strengthening 1st Line of Defence governance, and aligning local operations with the group’s wider risk management framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a robust 1st Line of Defence risk governance framework aligned with group and local standards.
- Serve as the primary risk contact for Front Office, providing advice and oversight on key risk areas.
- Monitor and assess operational and regulatory risks, proposing effective mitigation measures.
- Perform delegated approvals and control activities in accordance with internal policies.
- Collaborate across functions and locations to ensure consistent risk practices and knowledge sharing.
- Solid understanding of regulatory and risk topics (e.g. KYC, Fraud, Cross Border).
- 1–2 years’ experience in client-facing, risk, or compliance roles.
- Strong interest in financial markets and asset classes.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
