Nadine is the Co-Chair of Deloitte’s Multicultural Network (MCN) and Lead for the BAME in Financial Advisory Working Group. She also sits on the Firm’s Ethnicity Council and has been pivotal in driving the conversation around BLM, brought about by the most impactful session that has taken place within the firm. The MCN hosted the Let’s Talk session, following the killing of George Floyd, where over 900 colleagues joined to share and learn about the black experience within the UK. Nadine is one of the 4 founding individuals who developed the Firm’s Black Action Plan.
Bianca is the CFO of the UK arm of leading fintech Salary Finance, an innovative provider of financial wellbeing solutions for UK and US employees. Salary Finance's salary-linked financial products enable employees to save regularly, learn positive financial habits, advance their earned income, borrow responsibly and improve their credit rating. Bianca started her career in Fintech on the investing side. She spent six years at London based Hamilton Ventures, a boutique investment house with a focus on early-stage fintech businesses, before leaving to join the restructuring team of an international online trading business spread across Israel, the US and Japan. It was after this experience that Bianca decided to move into an operating role, which led her to join Salary Finance at the start of 2018.
Shawn McCarthy has been a Corporate Treasurer and Treasury Consultant for 25+ years after relocating to London in 1996 with Universal Studios/Seagram Company Ltd. She has held various senior Treasury Management roles in the UK and overseas, working with large and international businesses (across various industries) including Deliveroo, Compass Group and Willis Towers Watson. Shawn also sits on the board for the UK arm of the Financial Executives Networking Group (FENG) who are an offline networking group for senior leaders in Accountancy & Finance.
Dauda leads the Group’s financial operations and serves on its Inclusion & Diversity Committee. He plays a key role in the continued development of the Group’s I&D strategy and has been integral in setting up their employee resource groups and mentoring the CEO and executive team on matters of inclusivity. He also participates in thought leadership on diversity in the London market insurance sector in partnership with the African-Caribbean Insurance Network (ACIN).
Dauda’s career spans over 15 years of experience across financial management, outsourcing and operations. Earlier in his career, Dauda held senior accounting positions in both media and travel companies, including Expedia Inc.
His combination of previous roles and experiences living across continents, together with his involvement in delivering D&I initiatives, has given him a deep understanding of the prevalent challenges presented within Financial Services and organisations at large.
