Recap: Operational Resilience - The Road Ahead
- Time: 6.00pm - 9.00pm
- Date: Thursday 05 March 2020
- Location: 1 America Square, London
Last week we partnered with ORIC International and PRMIA - Professional Risk Managers' International Association for our first London-based event of the decade. The evening started with Justin Elks delivering the key results from the very recent Crowe and ORIC International’s Operational Resilience Readiness Survey on how ORIC member firms see their current Operational Resilience readiness. One key response from those firms was “The challenge will be for people to take accountability broader than their own functions when they are used to working in silos.” Naomi Springate then delivered an insightful and thought-provoking talk on ‘Impact Tolerances’. The panel shared the experiences of their own firms’ existing approaches to operational resilience and the next steps they intend to take on their Operational Resilience - Road Ahead, which is a key topic following the publication of the PRA and FCA Operational Resilience Consultation Papers in December 2019. We are delighted that the audience raised £1,142 for the charitable partner for the event, Enham Trust, through their donations. Enham Trust is a charity that supports disabled people. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the panelists for their excellent and enthusiastic sharing of their knowledge and insight.
