Around 65 million people around the world live with epilepsy. Today is International Epilepsy Day, a day which provides a platform for people with epilepsy to share their experiences and stories to a global audience. Despite epilepsy being one of the world’s oldest known medical conditions, public fear and misunderstanding about epilepsy persists, making people reluctant to speak up about it.
