Broadgate Search Charity Cycle Ride
- Date: Thursday 03 August 2017
Broadgate Search is passionate about its involvement in the on-going growth and development of our business. We recognise that Corporate Social Responsibility is of increasing concern and importance to our clients, candidates and future business partners.
Our company is strongly affiliated with several charitable organisations most notably Peter McVerry Trust in Ireland and Ex-Military Careers in the UK. Peter McVerry Trust is a homeless and housing charity, committed to reducing homelessness and harm caused by substance misuse and social disadvantage. The charity was established in 1983 by Fr Peter McVerry to respond to the growing issue of youth homelessness in Dublin. Since then, it has supported thousands of vulnerable people on the margins of Irish society. Peter McVerry Trust provides low-threshold entry services, primarily to younger people and vulnerable adults with complex needs, and offers pathways out of homelessness based on the principles of the Housing First model. Broadgate Search employees provide on-going assistance to Peter McVerry trust through “back to work” initiatives including CV writing classes, interview preparations and career guidance. We encourage our employees to volunteer throughout the year in various events aimed to raise funds in support of our charitable partners.
Employees from across our Dublin and London operations are taking part in the Wexford Charity Cycle on Saturday September 16th. The cycle will start at University College Dublin and will finish 136km away at the Clayton Whites Hotel, Wexford. We at Broadgate search need to raise a combined minimum total of €2000.00.
Please remember that this is a minimum and if we can raise more that would be great. To make a donation to such a great cause please follow the link:
